How to pay transport tax without a receipt if the car tax does not come?

Having got their own vehicle, everyone should understand that along with him there will be a new obligation - payment of the transport tax, which is levied so that the state has the opportunity to maintain, repair, build new roads and other infrastructure. Usually all this comes by mail, but sometimes failures occur in the system that has been established over the years. Postal employees lose the payment, the dog eats it, or it is mistakenly burned in the fireplace. Then the question arises of how to pay the transport tax, if there is no receipt, how to find out the full amount of debt and how to get out of an unpleasant situation quickly and with little blood, without putting the matter on the back burner.

If the car tax does not come

The modern world is full of a wide variety of devices and new services, and the Internet has made it possible to bring the level of human comfort to sky-high heights. Today, in order to order food and drinks, pay bills or even purchase tickets for transport, you no longer even need to leave your home. All basic information about us is securely stored on numerous Internet resources, where you can check its reliability, verify data and find out debts. When the tax on the car does not come on time, it makes sense to figure out what is going on.

As soon as any citizen of our country acquires a vehicle, he undertakes to immediately register it with the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate in his own name in order to become a full owner. After that, the specialists of the registration authorities themselves will transfer information about the car to the Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service, where the transport tax will be calculated, and the motorist himself will receive a payment with a certain amount, which is affected by the power, time of use, type and category and many other criteria.

The owner does not have to worry about transferring data to the tax office, usually such payments are generated once a year and sent by mail. They are usually required to be paid before October 1 of the current year, but for the previous period, therefore it will be difficult to delay such fees. Certain categories of the population are exempted from the payment of TN, but here there is no way to get away from applying for a benefit, because all discounts and concessions are applied for.

If the owner of the car does not belong to any one that is exempt from the payment of TN, which can be easily checked on our website, and the corresponding documents in the IFTS are not the basement, but itself, then the payment is usually not long in coming. But if she is still lost, then you should not worry, there are several simple methods to deposit funds and not accumulate debts, for which they will not be patted on the head later.

The easiest way is to go to the tax office.

Before starting to deal with different methods of paying transport tax, if there is no receipt, it is worth analyzing the situation and thinking about what could have been done in such a situation and what our fathers and grandfathers would have done. The easiest way will be to go to the nearest branch of the National Assembly, not forgetting to take your passport and TIN with you, which you cannot do without today.

Having come to the inspector, each car owner who has lost a receipt will have to briefly outline the situation, and then write a corresponding statement by hand in any form. After the specialist accepts the application, he must immediately form and issue a new payment order to the taxpayer, according to which he, in turn, will make the payment.

However, this only happens in an ideal world, in fact, tax offices fill crowds of people, and in order to stand in line, you will have to take three days' leave from work, and the inspector himself does not understand what you want from him and does not issue a second receipt , offering to write a statement addressed to the chief and wait for an answer within ten days. Of course, there is nothing inspiring in such a situation, but it happens in different ways and you should not be afraid, since there are other options for how to pay transport tax if there is no receipt.

Federal Tax Service on the Internet

Progress does not stand still, and today numerous state institutions provide citizens with a wide variety of services, at a fairly high level of service. The tax service is not an exception at all, because for quite a long time there has been an official portal on the Internet, where anyone can register in their personal account (LC), receive an electronic barb and a personal signature, after which it will not be difficult to regularly monitor their payments and debts, follow for the state of taxes and take other actions.

Beforehand, you still have to go to the tax office and write a statement, but it's definitely worth it. The list of documents that will be required for this is small:

  • Passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation or an equivalent document.
  • TIN with your last name.
  • Technical passport of the vehicle (PTS).
  • Car registration in the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.

After you can enter your personal account (LC), there you will be able to see all payments, debts, overpayments and, in general, a wide variety of information regarding your "relationship" with the National Assembly. There will be, again, several options for how to pay the transport tax if the receipt has not arrived.

  1. If you have a Sberbank card, or any other of the valid ones, and it has enough funds to cover the costs, you can click the "Online payment" button right in the LC and make a payment, specifying all the card details.
  2. Find a special subsection "Generate payment documents", where it will be easy and simple to download a new receipt, with which you will need to go to any bank.

There is nothing complicated here, even a beginner who has never dealt with anything like this can figure it out. The main thing is to take care of registration on the official website of the Federal Tax Service in advance, so that later you can always be aware of events regarding your own tax situation.

Sberbank will help to cope with the problem

For quite a long time, Sberbank of Russia has been cooperating very closely with the tax service, which gives special advantages both to both instances and to the clients themselves. The fact is that the bank already has databases that fully reflect all the necessary criteria for making payments for transport tax and not only. The system has data of all the KBK codes that are necessary to pay for the TN, it will depend on the correctness of the specified code and will depend on whether your payment will pass or "hang" somewhere in the air.

There are three main methods of paying car tax that Sberbank offers, and you can use them.

  1. If you have a bank card, you can pay through a payment terminal or even an ATM. This can be done by the receipt number, if you know it, or by the notification barcode, or you can enter all the details (both the recipient and your own) with your own hands.
  2. Make a payment through the personal account of Sberbank, where you will also have to enter all the necessary payment attributes.
  3. By personally contacting a specialist cashier, who usually sits in the bank outside the window and will be happy to help you solve any problem regarding the payment of transport tax and whatever else.

Need to remember

If the tax on transport has not arrived and you decide to use the services of Sberbank without a receipt, you still have to either go to the Federal Tax Service at the place of registration (registration), or register in the LC on the official portal. Otherwise, you will hardly know the total tax amount, even if you calculate it yourself using the standard formula. Tax rates for TN can change annually, so it will not be difficult to make a mistake. It is best to register in advance, it will be quite simple, it will take less than half an hour, but you will receive a lot of benefits.

Responsibility for delay in payments for TN

Not receiving the payment on time, often the car owner simply forgets about it, thus finding himself in a wounded position, because he becomes a tax evader, which is punishable by law. According to the first paragraph, article number 75 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation, a penalty may be charged on a payment not made in due time. Basically, the size of such surcharges is supposed to be small, but the saying is true that a penny saves the ruble, so why pay more.

All payments are sent by NS by post of the recommended type, which allows you to receive them only with the presentation of documents and under a personal signature. The obligation to pay for the receipt arises just when you receive the letter and sign for it from the postman or courier. This is regulated by paragraph 4 of Article 57 and paragraph 2 of Article 44 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation. If payment is not made, warnings will be sent to the debtor, after which fines may be imposed.
