Walkthrough Bloodborne. How to Get Into Bloodborne: The Old Hunters Yaar "Ghul, Spiritual Village

Let be Bloodborne not formally part of Dark souls, she still honors the traditions of the series. So, for example, you will not be able to get into the upcoming expansion The old hunters through the magic button in the main menu, for this you will have to perform a number of not the most obvious actions.

To get started, of course, you need to purchase "Old Hunters" in the PlayStation Store. After that, go to the cathedral district, defeat the local boss (most likely, we are talking about Vicar Amelia) and explore the altar at the end of the room to change the time in the game for the night. Return to Hunter's Dream. There, the messengers will give you a new item - the Eye of a Blood-Drunk Hunter. Move to Idon Chapel, exit through the left passage and reach the right end of the square. An event will take place there, and you will finally find yourself in the starting location of the add-on - Hunter's Nightmare. Step-by-step instructions in the form of screenshots are below.

In addition, on the official PlayStation blog, the authors have published several pictures from the very The old hunters... On them you can see the most wonderful things: a portable Gantling machine gun (like the one that Jura had in Old Yharnam), as well as the effect of the new rune "The Beast" s Embrace, which will allow your character to take the form of a monster.

Bloodborne: The Old Hunters is out today and is available for download, but if you are still wondering how to get to the new call, this guide may come in handy. Possible spoilers.

1) Defeat Vicar Amelia in the Main Cathedral
2) Approach the altar to start the event (time of day will change to night)
3) Return to the Hunter's Dream
4) Messengers will appear next to the doll. Accept the Gift (Eye of the Blood Drunk Hunter)
5) Go to Yharnam Tombstone and awaken in the Cathedral District
6) Exit the left exit
7) Go down the stairs, turn right and stand in front of the dead man next to the tree. Players will automatically be transferred to the Hunter's Nightmare

If Vicar Amelia has already been defeated and the event behind the altar has already started, a messenger will appear next to the doll in the Hunter's Dream. Follow steps 4-6.

Also a little Q&A (questions and answers):

Question: What level should a character be to gain access to a new zone?
Answer: There are no restrictions on the level after which The Old Hunters add-on becomes available. Players can enter the new zone at any level, but we recommend using a level 65 character.
Q: How many new weapons will there be in The Old Hunters?
Answer: If you count the weapons for both the left and right hands, then no less than ten.
Q: How many new bosses will The Old Hunters have?
Answer: There will be four new bosses in the expansion.
Q: Are there any additions planned after The Old Hunters?
Answer: No, there are no new additions planned for Bloodborne: Blood Spawn.
Question: Was I able to continue playing with friends if I have The Old Hunters expansion and they don't? (or vice versa?)
Answer: Yes. It is very important that the gaming community remains united despite new data emerging. The Old Hunters expansion is designed in such a way that all players can still interact with each other. Players without the expansion will see the new weapon, but will not be able to use it or travel to new locations unless they purchase the expansion.
Q: How long will it take to complete The Old Hunters?
Answer: Difficult to say given the variety of play styles. Be that as it may, the add-on not only opens up new locations, but also changes the already familiar zones - for example, adding new NPCs. We believe that the players will have a fairly long adventure.
Q: What are the main features of The Old Hunters expansion?
Answer: Lots of new locations, weapons, items, enemies, bosses and NPCs added to the world of Yharnam.
Q: Will there be any new magic (abilities) in The Old Hunters?
Answer: Yes.
Q: How will players be able to access The Old Hunter expansion?
Answer: Players will gain access to new zones after completing a specific episode of the story.
Question: Can you tell us more about the League?
Answer: The League is a group of hunters bound by an oath and pursuing a common goal. As a member of the League, led by a mysterious figure in Constable Robes and Bucket Helmet, you can help other players online and fight for a spot on the overall League leaderboard. The league will be available to all owners of Bloodborne: Bloodspawn, including those who have not purchased the expansion.
Question: Will the online game change with the update?

And so, we begin our journey in, after waking up, go down the stairs to the main hall, in the next room you will find Lycanthrope ... We do not have a weapon, you can kill it with your bare hands, if you contrive, you can also walk with your bare hands to the first lantern without much difficulty, if you are not looking for easy ways. But let's describe the easy way, to die.

After death, you will wake up in the "Hunter's Dream" - a safe zone in the game Bloodborne... Here you can get acquainted with the controls, and later you can level up your character, buy and upgrade weapons, etc.

After you read all the messages, go up the stairs and take your main weapon and firearm, choose carefully, because if according to the starting characteristics it does not suit you, alas, you will be left without a firearm or cutting weapon until the death of the first boss, because it will be possible to increase the level and raise the characteristics only after the death of the first boss. Make sure to pick up your first weapon, and then walk up to Yharnam's headstone, which will take you back to the clinic where you recently died.

You can now leave the clinic. Turn left at the foot of the large grave, where you will find 20 silver bullets. If you don't have enough ammo, you can always use your own blood to make 5 bullets, but this will take away your health (press the up arrow on your controller). Now you can continue your journey, the gate is closed on the right, do not bother how to open it, this can be done only after the moon turns red, you yourself will take it there and open the gate from the other side, so go through the door that is open.

Right outside the gate, we get into central yarnam. Go down to the terrace and pick up Blood Vials from a lying corpse. Further we go towards the carriage, there you will be met by the townspeople who went hunting, on the night of the hunt (see. Hunting crowd ). Most, if not all of the inhabitants of Yharnam have lost what little that made them human, now they attack any travelers. Further, a large gate awaits you, but they are closed, you only have to go to the left, where at the end of the road several opponents are waiting for you, as well as another corpse with several Molotov cocktails. inflict fire damage at a distance - but it is better to save them on more difficult opponents, for example, on the boss. Further, a dead end awaits you, but it may seem so only at first glance, there is a lever nearby, pull it and then a ladder will fall, along which you can climb to the upper level. Do not forget to search the corpse near the stairs, from it you can get a few more Blood Vials, with the help of which you can replenish the level of health.

Here you will find a lantern, with the help of it you can go to the Hunter's Dream. Go to the window, there is waiting for you, he will give you some advice. There will be a staircase to the right of the window, go down it, you can jump to the left, into the hole in the fence, so you will reduce the number of opponents who will attack you immediately if you went further down the stairs. Walking down the street you will see a large bonfire, Hunting crowd , lure them one by one and go further or go in the opposite direction, kill another A crowd of hunters and pull the lever to open the gate. There is also a hidden area behind the wagon, where a rather difficult enemy awaits you - Executioner ... He is extremely strong for you, if you are not confident in your abilities, you can not go to him, but then you will not receive 3 bottles of blood from his corpse.

After a fire with a crowd of enemies to the fountain, there you will find a new enemy - Troll... This enemy is slow, it can be parried with a pistol. Examine the two bodies, from them you can pick up and. It can be exchanged for a weapon in the left hand. At the other end of the fountain will lie. will do double damage if the enemy was doused before

Continue up the stairs, there will be two waiting for you on the bridge. Lycanthrope ... This is the same enemy that would be in, but this time they have full health. If you walk right over the bridge, you will meet another Troll and there will be a boss next to him, behind them under the arch, but we don't need to go there yet. Go back over the bridge, from the right there will be a descent into the building, it's dark there and expect an attack, so use the previously found . After leaving the house, climb the stairs to the top and open the door, this will be a short way to the boss from the lantern, if you do not master it on the first try. Also, if you go this way from the lantern, you will meet two Trolls , they guard the elevator, which you can later activate.

Returning back from the stairs, there will be a large congestion in the water. Water , they are slow, so you can hit the square. Further along the way, you will meet a raven, still water, but the most interesting will be at the end, there is Huge boar , be careful, can kill with one blow, after Vpery turn to the left and climb the stairs, so we cut off the path and bypassed the trap that had prepared for us Troll that stands near the stone, if we walked across the bridge, we would most likely die. After killing the Enemies, go across the bridge and on the right, activate the elevator, the same one that you found when you went to the first boss.

Head back over the bridge and Fight the boss .

Part 2: Cathedral District and Old Yharnam

Cathedral district and old yarnam.

After killing Gyscon, climb the stairs up through the gate, you will fall into cathedral district ,Talk with Oh which is very similar to ritual masters in a red cape from the right of the beginning of the cathedral.

Light the lantern and head to the left of the lantern, meet 2 church ministers , if you have mastered parrying well, then you will not have any problems, they can use magic, so it is better to keep at a close distance so as not to provoke them to witchcraft, which takes a lot of health if you cannot dodge.

After leaving the cathedral, on the right, among the tombstones, you will find hunter set with top hat (?) , but be careful, it is guarded by some semblance amygdala , but you will not see it if the inspiration is below 40, you can not be afraid of it if you quickly have time to pick up and leave. If you go up the stairs to the top, going to the left through the gate, you will be able to find those who guard it, including Church giant , nothing important in this part will be anymore, except. We return to the stairs where we came from, you can go up the stairs and open the gate, if you bought a key in a hunter's dream for 10,000 blood. Outside the gate it will be the same Church giant , through the same passage it will be possible in the future to get to the location Hemwick cemetery area , and through it and in Hemwick burial ground , but this will be described later, since we do not have access there now. If you go down the stairs to the left, you can find Arianna, who can later be invited to cathedral district continuing to walk along the street, you will stumble upon a large concentration of enemies, lure them out, kill and climb the bell tower without a bell, jumping to the roof, and then down, you can open a short path from the lantern to the boss, and later you can meet near the entrance to the boss will be with Eileen Raven Hunter , also from this boss there is a passage to the location Hemwick cemetery area and Yaargul village which can only be reached when the moon turns red. But if you didn’t buy the key from in the dream, from the cathedral district we go down the street and find old cathedral(?) , dogs will suddenly attack us from both sides, we kill everyone, we do not go into the cathedral, but we go to the left of it, at the top we are waiting for a shooter and 2 dogs, a dangerous moment, so it is better to lure the dogs and leave the shooter, then we go to the right through the arch to the end, we go down the steps there will be waiting for us Logarius , do not kill him if you are interested in his covenant. Pulling the lever on the second floor of the cathedral, open the entrance to old yarnam , we go down to the lantern and we are in old yarnama

The location is extremely difficult for the first playthrough due to the fact that almost no blood and bullets fall out of the opponents here, so it's more economical. From the lantern we go to the left, cross the bridge, they attack us from the fog Infected , we kill, we go down the stairs to the bottom and the same infected and infected fanatics , you can lure out one at a time, Or you can walk by if it's too difficult. We go down the stairs to the right and they start shooting at us, we don't linger in open spaces and continue our descent through the buildings, on the way down you can stumble upon hunter , who will start attacking us, the enemy is quite difficult, especially if they constantly shoot at you from a machine gun, so from the beginning we climb the chapel, kill the shooter Old hunter juru , we take the badge from his body (if you drop the djuru down, there is a possibility of losing the badge before the beginning of ng +), we go down and we are already finishing off the hunter. We go inside another cathedral, deal with a bunch of infected fanatics and just Infected , we take blood from the altar to create dungeon bowls further, we leave the cathedral, go to the right or climb the stairs and open a short path or immediately go further and get ambushed from Infected who pretend to be dead behind the smoke, a little further you will want to feast on two Lycanthrope , extremely dangerous opponents if you are of a low level, you can defeat a series of quick hits. As soon as the next one jumps out of the premises Lycanthrope , we go to where he jumped out of, at the very top we open for ourselves a short path from the lantern, we return to the route, we kill another Lycanthrope , a big one is hiding in the smoke infected fanatic . We pass through the cemetery with burning crucifixes and get to the boss monster blood swallower , an extremely harmful opponent, it is recommended to wear with set by Father Gyscon if you bought it or stock up on pills from poisoning, a description of the boss and a video walkthrough can be found by going to the bosses section on our website.

Only one weapon is skipped in this trophy, so as not to accidentally miss it, I advise you to familiarize yourself with the location of the skipped weapon.

Glitchy

In addition, there is only one trophy that can glitch, namely, but it is extremely rare and it is fixed by simply buying all types of weapons from the DLC from Bath Envoys.

Warning: the text contains spoilers! If you have not finished the game yet and do not want to spoil your impression, then reading the article is not recommended.

Introduction

In order to get into the DLC "The Old Hunters" you must:

1. Kill the boss "Vicar Amelia" and use the altar at the end of the room to change the game time to night.

2. In "Hunter's Dream" Near Doll take "Eye of the Blood Drunk Hunter" :

3. Go to the location "Cathedral District", go out through the left passage and go to the right edge of the square, to the place where the body of the hunter lies:

4. Wait until you get grabbed Amygdala and will transfer to "Hunter's Nightmare" .

After activating the flashlight in "Hunter's Nightmare" DLC "The Old Hunters" can be accessed through Nightmare Headstone in "Hunter's Dream", the location of which can be seen in the screenshot below:

Passage of the plot

If you do not want to repeat the passage of this add-on, then you should remember only one skipped trophy. Let's take a closer look at it.

Collect all the weapons of the old hunters.

To obtain this trophy, you must collect all the weapons that appeared in the DLC "The Old Hunters". In total, 16 new types of weapons were added - 11 for the right hand and 5 for the left, besides, one of them was skipped.

Next, I will apply the following labels:
(NS)- Weapon for the right hand; (LR)- Weapon for the left hand; (Skipped)- Weapons can be skipped;

Consider the entire list of weapons of old hunters:

1. Monster slayer (NS)

Rises from the corpse of a hunter at the beginning of the location "Hunter's Nightmare" ... In order to find him, you need to go up the hill to the hunter, and then jump down from the ledge:

There, in addition to a handful of enemies, there will be a hunter's corpse, from which you can collect the required weapon.
2. Rattlesnake hammer (NS)

At the same location "Hunter's Nightmare" when you reach the entrance to the cathedral, inside of which you are resting "Vicar Lawrence" , do not go into it, but turn right. Going down, and then overcoming the enemies next to the machine guns, go down even one level lower. Further, do not go downstairs, but go left - in the building. After going down the stairs inside, turn left and back. There, next to your grandfather in a stroller, you will find Rattlesnake hammer... Just be careful - the wheelchair is mined!

3. Piercing gun (NS)

Can be bought from Bath Envoys in "Hunter's Dream" for 20,000 Blood Echoes, after finding Burning Hammer Badge ... The badge itself is taken near the place where it was Rattlesnake hammer and a mined wheelchair, just going down the stairs you do not turn left and back, but simply left and go out through the passage to the street. Then you go forward, climb the stairs to the hunter with a claw, after killing which you will get the same Burning Hammer Badge .

4. Gatling machine gun (LR)

From a house with a mined wheelchair (in which there was Rattlesnake hammer) we go out into the street through the right passage, if you stand with your back to the stairs leading to the second floor. Going down to the river of blood, we turn right and go to the entrance to the cave. Entering it you will meet an armed hunter Gatling machine gun ... After killing this hunter, his weapon will go to you.

5. Hand of the Amygdala (NS)

Located in the same cave where they took Gatling machine gun ... You need to go a little further forward and go down. Caution: it is guarded by the Blood-Swallowing Beast.

6. Simon's Sharp Bow (NS)

There are several ways to get it. First, let's find Simon himself. Coming out of the cave in which you took Gatling machine gun and Hand of the Amygdala, we go along the river of blood to the bridge. Climbing the bridge, we pass along it and go down - into the building. At the end of the corridor you will find Simon, to the left of which there will be doors that open the cut. Now let's get back to the methods of obtaining.

The first way:
The simplest one and does not require any additional manipulations. Just kill Simon, from his corpse you will get the same Simon's Sharp Bow ... With this method "The key to one of the chambers in the dungeon" Bloodletter will lie next to the lantern in the hut in the location "Fishing Village" , i.e. where the dying Simon was supposed to lie using the second method.

Second way:
1) Talk to Simon and answer "I am very interested in nightmares".
2) Almost at the end of the DLC in the location "Fishing Village" he will lie dying next to the lantern in the hut ( "Hut near the lighthouse"):

After talking with him, you will receive Simon's Sharp Bow , and "The key to one of the chambers in the dungeon" required to obtain weapons Bloodletter.

Attention: for those who missed Simon and, of course, all items related to him there is no reason to be upset. Even after completing the DLC, you can return to the place where it stands at the very beginning, described just above, and use any of the two methods of obtaining weapons Simon's Sharp Bow .

7. Monster hunter saif (NS)

At the same location "Hunter's Nightmare" we return to the river of blood and go to the right of the bridge, if you stand with your back to the passage leading to Simon and to the doors that activate the contraction. In the place where two dogs attack you, we run around the fallen tower and come across a hunter and a large number of crows. Having dealt with them or simply ignored, we go up the stairs, and then instead of going forward to the hill, we go to the left and jump down through the broken fence. There you will be met by a hunter armed with a saif, and if you go a little further, you will find a corpse from which this weapon is selected.

8. Saw blade (NS)

At the location "Hunter's Nightmare" , immediately after finding Monster hunter saif Climbing back up the stairs and overcoming the hill in front, you jump down. After going a little further you will meet two big guys, in this place keep to the right, there you will find the entrance to the cathedral, and in the cathedral there is a lamp "The Main Cathedral of Nightmare"... Next, go down the stairs next to this lamp and tomb, and then jump down to the crows. Going to the left to the very end, you will stumble upon a corpse lying on a stone, from which you will pick up this weapon.

9. Sacred Moonlight Sword (NS) (Skipped)

Immediately after killing the boss "Ludwig Sacred Blade" ("Ludwig the Damned" ) to the left of the lamp you will find his head. You can do it in two ways.

The first way:
Just kill your head and take away Sacred Moonlight Sword .

Second way:
Dress in either of the two church sets ( White Church or Black Church), talk to your head and agree. In this case, you will receive Sacred Moonlight Sword right after the conversation.

Attention: if you forget to pick up this sword after killing Ludwig and at the same time leave Simon alive, then after defeating the boss "Lady Mary of the Astral Clock Tower" Simon will finish off his head with one accurate shot from his bow. If this happens, then Sacred Moonlight Sword in this playthrough you won't get it anymore!

10. Fist of Grace (LR)

Found in one of the underground chambers right after the boss "Ludwig Sacred Blade" .

11. Church cannon (LR)

Climbing the stairs from the underground prison, you will stumble upon two hunters, after whom there will be a large platform - an elevator leading to "Hall of Research" ... Activate the platform and immediately go back from it. Another platform will rise from below, on the altar of which take "Laurence's Skull" , you will need it to challenge the boss "First Vicar Lawrence" ... Next, we activate the lever and using this platform we go down. There, in a small nook, there will be a chest in which lies Church cannon.

12. Church pick (NS)

To get this weapon, first you need to find "The key to the chambers in the dungeon" ... It is located in the location "Hall of Research" , on the third floor of the infirmary. First you need to climb to the very top and use a mechanism that will move all the stairs. After that, go up from Adeline(which sits at the very bottom "Hall of Research" , the door to it will be, if you go up the stairs and turn to the right from the lantern) on the elevator. Then we go into the opposite elevator and look carefully to the left - there will be a passage that you need to get into while the elevator is moving (the easiest way to do this is when the elevator goes down). Then we go forward, turn left, go down the stairs keeping to the left and climb the stairs nearby. Having gone up, we turn left, go to the end and turn right, there will be a corpse from which we collect this key.

13. Lockh Shield (LR)

Everything is the same "Hall of Research" , after turning the mechanism at the very top, one of the stairs will turn to the ledge, which is closer to the first floor, on which there will be a corpse with this shield.

14. Rakuyo (NS)

At the location "Fishing Village" on the square you will find a well, when you go down into it one fish will attack you. Another one will hang from the ceiling, which will jump down only when you spend 50% of your life first. By killing this second fish as a reward, you will receive Rakuyo.

15. Bloodletter (NS)

To obtain this weapon you will need to collect "The key to one of the chambers in the dungeon" ... Where and how to find it can be found in the description of the location of the weapon Simon's Sharp Bow .

After picking up the key, we return to the underground prison and go down to the locked Bradoru... Unlocking the door and killing him get Bloodletter.

Receive for defeating a boss "Orphan Kosa".

Now let's move on to the most important thing - to the bosses and the tactics of dealing with them. As always, we will consider them in the order of the battles.

Ludwig Sacred Blade (Ludwig the Damned)

Boss type: plot

Tactics:

In the first stage Ludwig mainly uses sweeping attacks with claws, tries to bite into teeth, and also makes dashes and jumps. Despite the seeming chaos of his attacks, you can always catch windows between them and inflict damage on the boss. His horse legs, as well as heads, are best suited for strikes. Try to watch his attacks and go behind him, or stick to either of the sides. Because A somersault is carried out further than a bounce, I recommend not using focus on the target at the first stage or turning it off when the boss is carrying out attacks.

In the second stage, the boss will use a sword. Move away from him when he plunges his sword into the ground, and also dodge a series of sword attacks that hit far and hurt, so it's better to stay on one of his sides or back.

To help yourself, you can call three phantoms, or rather, either one first, or the second and third:

1) Henrietta... The call sign is next to the one closest to Ludwig a lantern. Coming down from "Churches of Nightmare" down, on the left you will find the place of her summoning.

2) Twin Madaras... Summoned where the Butcher's Set lies, next to one of the big ones. The condition of the call is the use of the rune Impurity, for which you need to join the covenant "League" by talking to Walter which is located near the lantern "Forbidden Forest", in the mill building.

3) Waltre... On the way to Ludwig, right after two big guys, you will meet a witch, a little further to the right of which there will be crows. Next to these ravens, you will find a call sign. Again, to summon it you need to use the rune Impurity.

Boss Kill Reward:

Living failures

Boss type: plot

Tactics:

The difficulty of this boss lies only in the fact that there are several Failures, the maximum can be 4. It is worth remembering that they have a weakness for electricity. The tactics of fighting them are quite simple - we run around the glowing tree of sunflowers, hiding behind it from throwing magic attacks and, if possible, inflicting damage on one of the enemies. During an air attack, when Failures stretch out their arms to the sky, and the environment begins to darken, it is best to hide under the roof next to the doors leading to the clock tower.

Boss Kill Reward:

Lady Mary of the Astral Clock Tower

Boss type: plot

Tactics:

The boss is quite simple and in many cases is killed on the first run. First of all, it should be noted that Maria very easy to parry. Fast weapons are best suited for combat. We just go to her over the left shoulder and punch, then we dodge attacks over the same left shoulder and, having restored the stamina, we return to the previous actions.

If you still prefer a heavy weapon, then you can use the expanded two-handed grip Ax of the Hunter and attack Mary charged attack every time it approaches you.

Boss Kill Reward:

First Vicar Lawrence

Boss type: additional

Tactics:

This boss has a longer and stronger left paw, you should take this into account when fighting him. Therefore, during the first stage, try to keep under his right paw. It will carry out two types of ground strikes - one with a blast after pulling out the paw, the other just striking the ground. So, while hitting the ground with a blast wave, hitting his paw, you can get the opportunity to repost. But if you nevertheless decide to approach him during this attack, then do everything quickly, hit once and immediately run so as not to be caught by the blast wave.

In the second stage, he loses his legs, but do not think that because of this he loses in agility and strength. He will carry out attacks with even greater fury, while pouring magma from both his mouth and from the back of everything, leaving a trail of fire behind him. At this stage, it is best to stick to its right side and constantly be careful not to accidentally fall into the magma on the floor.
